A Gift for a Foodie

Want to give the foodie in your life the perfect Christmas present?
Or maybe you're the foodie in your life and you want to give yourself the perfect present? It's my feeling that all you foodies with your great blogs showcasing your recipes would love to have the recipe
for a cookbook--a how-to on writing, publishing, and promoting
your cookbook.

Just so happens I've written a book about this and I'd like to give you a copy. Please leave me a comment telling me about the cookbook you'd love to write. I'll pick a random winner on Christmas Eve. For an extra chance to win, place the book cover on your sidebar with a link to this post. Then leave me another comment with the link to your blog.

If you're ready to get cooking on your cookbook, and you can't wait to win the book and you want it right now, it's available at Amazon. There's still time to order it and have it under your tree on Christmas.

Want to have a look inside before you buy? Please visit Recipe for a Cookbook to read lots more about it, including an overview and the table of contents.

I would love to write a cookbook, but have no plan on where to start. One idea for a cookbook I want to write is to have recipes with full fat and low fat versions for each recipe. Thanks for having this giveaway!

I'd like to write a "Culinary Trip Around the World" actually traveling from place to place, learning the traditional 'national' dish of each place, meeting the people, and photographing the food. Since no one has offered to bankroll that project, I'm going to fictionalize it on my blog starting in January.

I've already written one cookbook, The Moms' Guide to Meal Makeovers, and I want to write a second book. It's been my goal for about two years now. Maybe your book will be the final dash of motivation I need to finish my proposal and get the book published. The second cookbook will feature healthy recipes that kids WANT to eat!

Gloria, I hope you get a lot of entries. I must say it's one of the best books I've ever read about getting your cookbook published. Your attention to detail reference all the questions us would be writers have is phenomenal. I strongly recommend this book to anyone wanting to write a cookbook.

Oh my gosh, I have dreamed of writing my own cookbook for years. When I finally got the chance recently to spend a LOT of time in my kitchen I realized how much I love to create recipes and that my dream can become a reality. I am cooking a lot of healthy comfort food lately so maybe that's what the first cookbook should be! Oh, I can't wait! Thank you for a fabulous giveaway.

What a great idea this giveaway :-) I'm dieing to write a cookbook on easy French food, everyday style cooking. How simple is it and effortless is it to cook French at home.
Cheers and Merry XMas!

A great give-away for the holidays!
I don't know what mine would be like - cookbook for crazy ladies who like to stay home and talk to dogs all day? Too close to home, I guess.
